What did I find in my mail box today? A card from
strawberry_acid with Tom inside! *squees happily* OMG! He is dark, dark, dark, very handsome, with gleam in his eyes and a very Slytherin smirk playing at the corner of his mouth *g* I was grinning like an idiot (still am) and my neighbour who was descending the stairs humming, looked at me and started to hum louder, heh.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Anni! :D *smooches*
~*~On a slightly related note: post office. Postal service in Poland is kaputt. Not because of the strike this year, but because of the packages and letters. Too much. 10x more than the year before. You people caused it! You send, and send and send as if you had nothing better to do! *accusatory finger*
As you have guessed I'm waiting for something. Namely a game. Namely The Witcher. For two weeks now. And I chose '1-3 days delivery' option. I ordered in Poland. I
live in Poland.
British Royal Mail's slogan reads "With us it's personal" and I have to admit that between me and Polish Mail it starts to look this way, too. Though they have altogether different motto. It's: "Wanna get rid of something?"
Just don't be so naive and post something you don't want to see again with standard service. You have to choose the most expensive, express option with a lot of paperwork, mystery codes and numbers to ensure that your parcel/letter will be untrackable. It seems to impart the energy needed for the parcel to move to the fifth dimension. You know the physics: action equals reaction.
Amd I only wanted to slay monsters....
But I DID get my shipment from amazon.co.uk: David Bowie "Labyrinth OST", "Labyrinth", "Dark Crystal" and "Mirrormask" DVDs. I've seen "Labyrinth" 18 years ago and never since and I will have a feast tomorrow :)
I also received all my bills...
For those of you who are interested in Lucius Malfoy: "Capital City"
first and
second series have price reduced by half. Ah, young Isaacs! Marauders era, his first encounters with Severus... Shhh.... My hand hovers over "Proceed to checkout" button.
~*~On a completely unrelated note.
GJ changed their limit of userpics from 1,000 (2 years ago) to... 10!
Some time ago I was going home by bus. Same old route. The bus drove to the traffic lights and the driver leaned out of his cabin and shouted to us, desperate: "Where does it go?!"
Home, of course.
